Hope all goes well. I still remember how excited I was when we launched ours for the first time back in 2002. We closed in March (what a cold sea trial that was!) and I spent the next 2 months getting it ready. It launched in mid May up on the Merricmac River in Ma. Fortunately, the prior owner was a great guy and he agreed to make the run from Newburyport back to Salem. All went exactly as planned. I still talk to the prior owner from time to time.

Very good. I'm sure you'll enjoy her for a long time. In fact most of our boats will outlast us, kind of weird isn't it?

It sounds like you got there OK. I hope you enjoy the boat as much as I did.

My next project is a 1986 custom 46 cruiser designed by Hunt and built by C E Ryder and Gladding Hearn. I have owned it for a couple of months and already well into the project.

Doug, Not sure if I mentioned it to you this summer, but after Mattapoisett Rendezvous, I was in Falmouth Harbor and ended up chatting with the couple two slips over. They said they were the prior owners of Queen Elizabeth. They had a beautiful trawler (50 foot or so) can't remember the make. Nice folks and they said they always enjoyed your boat.

Brian, I think you called me to tell me. His name is Tom Law, and he owned the boat for 7 or 8 seasons prior to me. He's a real nice guy. His current boat is a 41 American Tug. He emailed me last week.
