Looks like I am a Bertram 33 SF owner as of Sunday

After much looking around and asking questions on this site, it appears that I have bought a 1986 Bertram 33 SF and I will be picking it up on Sunday and bringing it home to Montauk Monday the 26th, as long as the weather continues to hold out! I almost bought that 33 FBC wreck in Westchester, but after long thought it just never seemed like I would be able to complete the repairs and have the family boat ready for next season, plus the seller was quite strange in his negotiations. If anyone is looking at this boat I can provide alot of info as well as pictures. I want to tahnk you guys for all of your info that you had provided and will provide more than likely in the future.

Congrats Jeff. Did you go with gas or diesel? How'd the sea trial go?

I found a nice gas boat that had been recently repowered. Sea trial went well as expected. I was impressed to say the least! I will post some pics of the delivery, weather permitting!! Jeff

It has the later style larger salon with the pull out couch.

All you have to do is ask. As I was told by a person who has owned several Bertrams... "When you buy a Bertram, nobody ever asks you why!" Welcome aboard!
