Hey Mud Skipper. If you are still out there, I looked at this boat in Sept 2010. It still fits your description. The broker lady sure knew nothin about boats didn't she.. Kind of a used car sales person. No offense any other member sales persons.

By the way..Isn't it amazing how many boat owners let their boats go to hell. And this one is a Bertram 33 owner...Boo..Hiss.

It is too bad that Mudskipper does not post more , I love his descriptive writing. Tom, Was the boat really that bad when you looked at it?

No offense taken. You learn how to take it when you are a car dealer. Scott 1987 B33 SF Dealer's Choice V Edisto Beach, SC

The genset has been removed from the boat. They never could get it to run right. The boat is a fishing boat, and up keep is kinda lacking. Lots of stuff hanging loose in the engine room, wires hoses the usual. Smell was probably the usual salt water/oil bilge mix. Boat is still on yachtworld, same broker house. Still asking 34900 I think. This is the model year B33 that I can't change the water pump and belts on. Unless I do the remodel a member suggested, with a sawzall. Probably can get for a decent price. But a new genset isn't beer money.

The broker description is a bit of a stretch by the way.
