The trim tab extensions are needed to convert the old style to the Bennett cylinders. Thanks for posting Doug. Joe Tomaini 1988 Sportfish Attitude Adjustment II Fort Lauderdale, FL

I swapped the water tank with the Geny. I have a 7KW Westerbeke under the salon floor, just forward of the engine room bulkhead mounted midship. Very quiet without a sound shield and dry. The poly tanks are 2 - 35 gallon tanks coupled together for fresh water. Prior to the refit we did alot of drift/kite fishing and I found the boat to really sway in anything over 2 feet of swell. To remedy this, I decided to move weight aft & in essence raise the water line in the stern. The newer engines have a down angle gear box that allowed me to move the engines back about 8 inches. This moved a little weight aft and gave me lots more room ahead of the engines. This, coupled with the 500#'s of water really makes a big difference in a swell. I'm very pleased with the results. I think Bertram made the boat too forward heavy to begin with. I use a little more trim tab now, but it's well worth the trade. Joe Tomaini 1988 Sportfish Attitude Adjustment II Fort Lauderdale, FL

You can justify the expense by going to a boat show & seeing what you can buy for a half a mil, then convince the wife, that you can do it for 1/2 of that & have twice the boat! Joe Tomaini 1988 Sportfish Attitude Adjustment II Fort Lauderdale, FL

Any chance of getting interior shots, as well? I just towed my boat down to Worton Creek for refurbishing. This will be my project for te next several years. Heinz J. Dommert 1986 SF Bright Raven, Summit North Marina DE
