Hello, I'm currently restoring a 1977 convertible with the original Cummins 555 engines. Could anybody help me with the propeller dimensions/pitch ? Thanks, alan

Alan... You have to know the HP and trans gear ratio before you can make a decision on props.. there is a great prop calculator on the Boatdiesel forum, which you can access if you are a member. If not, consider joining for the annual fee of $25.00.. it is probably the best money you can spend as far as diesel engine education is concerned. Well, I have a Bertram spec sheet from 1984 back when the triple nickel was still an option on the 33's (rated @ 270hp) and 35's (rated @ 215hp). The gears and props for the 33 were: MG502 2:1 spinning a 22x26 inch prop on an 1-3/8" shaft The gears and props for the 35 were: MG506 1.97:1 spinning a 22x24 inch prop on an 1-3/8" shaft That being said, Frank B is correct. Its important to know what hp and gear ratio you have. At the very least, the gears should be labelled. Hope this helps.
