My wife and I are going to a Superbowl Party here in NC later today hosted by one of her tennis friends. The invitations stated that all who attend must wear their teams colors. Being from MA I am still a Patriots supporter.. we will both be wearing black, with a sticker saying "GO PATS!". Frank B - IRGuy@aol.com "Phoenix" 1983 FBC Wilmington, NC

Rhodes should have been but we all know who was penciled in to get it. Hard to believe that a QB, who in his Playoff career, has 3 TD's and 7 interceptions is now being compared to Joe Montana. I thought it should have been Rhodes and Addai as Co-MVPs.

Rhodes and Addai as Co-MVPs would have been great, they would stand to make a lot more money if they were. But, I guess it's "Super Bowl MVP Peyton Manning" commercials for the duration. You know, i have kept quiet on this whole topic because i know how sensitive you Pats fans are so i did not want to lose any friends over some comments...... But please get over yourselves The Patriots are not all that and either is Greg Brady. Now you guys are saying Peyton Manning is not a great QB.You guys have had way to much winter up there if you do not believe that Manning will probably be known as the best ever QB.In my oppinion there is not any QB that i would rather watch no matter what team he is on.And yes i do have a Dan Marino jerzee hanging on my wall.

I knew someone would crack eventually. It's just a joke, that's whats fun about sports is busting chops about different players. Guess were a little more thick skinned up here in the Northeast. And yes were bored up here, but at least we still have a sense of humor. And no, I don't have any "Greg" Brady jerseys hanging on my wall. By the way Peyton Manning is an awesome QB, anyone can figure that out. Best ever?? Just have to wait and see. The reality is that we know our biggest assets are our coaching staff, playing like a team and yes, keeping our QB healthy. Stating that Manning belongs in the ranks of Bradshaw, Montana, Elway and even Marino is proof positive that someone hasn't been following a lot of football. Congrats to Manning and his team, but I also believe he was far from MVP, that belonged to Addai all day long. Rick Ticket 85 SF Falmouth, MA

I'd take Marino over Manning any day of the week, and I used to hate Marino when I was in highschool because he always beat the Pats. I never said Manning isn't a great QB, I just think he's not the greatest.
