I pulled the trigger on a 1989 FBC. No more withdrawals.[^] I will be re powering with reman 330 Cummins, hopefully all this will be done before spring time and I'll be cruising her home to Mass. from Conn. She needs a little TLC but she certainly looks to be a solid boat. Very excited to be a Bertram owner once again, never thought I'd be on my SECOND Bertram already but... just happy to be in the game again! Thanks Tim, it was on yachtworld, 89 FBC in Norwalk,Conn. Looked at it last weekend with my wife, and Frank. It was a banked owned boat at a dealer. It's been for sale for awhile but priced very high. I think it was originally priced at 99,000. It needs pretty much all the same things I had to do on my old boat. Now I get to do them all over again, but thats fine, I'll take what I learned from the old boat and apply it to this one. It's about 3 hour drive from our house, long haul but it will all be worth it. We got a great deal and very happy to have a boat again. It was really freakin us out to be boatless. Even if it is sitting on the hard and it's 30 degees outside. Guess we're screwed up just like the rest of you!! Congratulations Bill... Great news! I suppose you can say you practiced on the first one, so you could get the second one right? Do you know what will happen to Becca Rose? Frank B - IRGuy@aol.com "Phoenix" 1983 FBC Wilmington, NC

Thanks Joe, absolutely! If we can make it happen that will be great. What month do you try and come up north? Welcome to the site!! Any suggestions on outfits that repower in that neck of the woods(Conn)? Bill 1988 33 FBC Ipswich, Ma. > ~-------

Hi Bill I'm going in for surgery at the end of feb, and hope I'm able to bring the boat north in May. When do you think your cummins will be in? BTW, i've got the cummins 330hp diamonds in my boat and love the engines. Joe

Congratulations Bill ! That was fast, but I know that you know a good boat when you see it. Good luck with it and those re-man 330's are really going to set you up nice for a long time. Rick Ticket 85 SF Falmouth, MA
