Scot, Welcome aboard. If you use the sites search function in the upper right hand corner you will see that a number of owners have repowered with diesels. I think there are a couple that have used the Cummins 370's. Regards, Doug L. 1986 33 Bertram FBC Queen Elizabeth Marblehead, MA [img]

Hi Scot, are you looking at an FBC or an SF?

Hello to al repower mania participants and forums members ! I have been reading all the post and I have not seen any comprehensive data and specs. for repowers. All I have seen is hp repower and speed that was obtianed. It would be great for those of us who are considering a repower to have firsthand data on : Boat weight, ( all 33's do not have same fuel, water , generator), transmision gear ratio, shaft diameter, prop number of blades, pitch and diameter. Then, it would be good to see what they call cruise RPM / speed and WOT.rpms vs. speed. Would it be a good idea for the users to post their boat specs. and performance data on a pre-defined template prepared by the administrator so that the users can compare and have a great data base ? Also perhaps a comment area on what the owner would have done different if he had the chance. Thanks, MK

Actually, a spec and performance spreadsheet for all owners is on my list of "things to do", I just haven't gotten around to it. I will see if I can make it materialize though this winter.

Thanks David, Great Idea! Perhaps this imformation can be posted on the page where all the pictures of the boats are with their names and owners ( without trying to get into anyone's privacy). Then members could fill in their pertaining information on the forum profile registration, so when you click on the picture you could get a link to their vessel profile. Sincerely, Mike Kohlhofer
