Unwinder left for Bimini Friday the 4th around 6:45 am Loaded down with building supplys, household goods, all the food and Ice and fishing stuff four people could use. We left out of Hillsboro inlet Pompano beach Fl. This is the heavyiest I have ever had the boat. Both exhausts were under water and she was sitting level front to rear as well. We could only run around 16 s/mph had to pull throttles back to 2050 rpm to keep from running hot. Took 4 hrs. in calm seas to get there. After clearingn customs we unloaded all the crap at two friends houses on South Bimini. had a quick lunch and out to look for Lobster and Conch, all we could find were short lobster but did pretty well on Conch. Saturday we left the dock around 7 and were trolling by 7:30 Had three nice dolphin 10# IN BOAT by 9am Set up for bottom fishing between Gun Cay and Cat in 100' Caught a couple nice yellowtail snapper, two cero mackerals and one legal strawberry grouper. Then we went conching on the back side of south cat. Got are limit of 50 (we had a fith guy with us) in under three hours. Sunday the wind was blowing 15-20 we tried to fish but to ruff to have any fun. Back to island for rum drinking and fun. Monday 6am up and out of my berth step into cockpit and rear bilge pump comes on. (not a good sign means bilge pump between engine had failed) Replaced bilge pump. got boat and people loaded. went up on flybridge and Port engine would not crank. after more than an hour we decided there was no power to fuel soliniod, ran a hot wire from battery to solinoid and she fiered right up. Cleared out of customs on north Bimini and headed home with a 15mph cross tail wind out of N.E. maid it home in three hours. compared to over four hrs. on the way over. Seas were around 4' had to steer the whole way. A Good time was had by all. Cpt. Dan
