shark'in this weekend

Anybody getting in any of the tournaments this weekend? I will be in both the mako mania and the jersey shark angler's. Mike

Mike - weather for this weekend is looking worse and worse - we are still planning on sharking on Sat - but we have a close eye on those Thunderstorms!

Manni, my crew pulled out. Refused to drift all day in 5 to 6 ft seas. I was going to do it sun but 4 to 6 15 to 20 knot winds is'nt worth the 900 to get in. The Wheather was calling for 1 to 3 on wed and tues. Another weekend at the dock. Got a charter for the canyon on 4th july weekend. I guess we'll see what happens then. Mike

so far this weekend looks do-able, but the last few weeks the weather takes a turn for the worst as the week goes on. We didnt leave the dock last weekend either. We have our fingers crossed for this weekend - might be the last good sharking week - might try some inshore bluefin tuna -maybe shark/bluefin combo trip. As of sat we can keep 2 Bluefin.....still not much.....but better than 1

I'm doing my first canyon run on monday. Depending on where the hot stuff is will dictate where to go. Toms is looking good. The wheather is supposed to be 1 to 3, YA RIGHT. Still gonna try. I'll be on 65 leaving on Monday 3 am, one day troll. Looking for that first big eye. Mike
