Princess oven / stove removal

Post by asher »

Hey all,

It’s been awhile since I posted so I hope everyone is still doing well. I recently had quite a bit of work done on my 35… recored the cockpit deck and aft salon bulkhead, and installed a new northern lights generator. I decided to bite the bullet and relocate it forward of the engines in the centerline hatch.

In other news I’ve been staring at the three burner princess oven / stove in my salon for a long time. I’ve never used it. I’ve been contemplating removing it and replacing it with cabinets or perhaps a small freezer.

Anyone done anything similar or have any ideas for me to spitball around?

If you don’t use the stove, you probably don’t need a freezer.

The 35 has plenty of storage, so and extra cabinet (if you’re like me) will only collect junk you won’t use either.

If it were me I’d leave the stove in, unless you want to reinstall it later when you want to sell the boat.
