We’ll we made through the storm yesterday. Lost power for most the day wind gusts to over 70MPH and a couple of feet of snow. I’m happy to report Roamin’ Beauty who spends winter in the water in a well protected cove in Hyannis Harbor fared well. She is tightly wrapped plugged in and a heater between the engines. Makes for a good working environment in early spring for prepping before the season.

Tony, glad to hear you fared well, as you got hit a lot worse than we did in Southeastern CT.

I also keep my boat in the water year round, along with eight other boats in our Marina.

We all lucked out that none of us lost our shrink rap with the high winds, which were a good deal less than what you had.

Also glad to see some activity on the site, thought I was the only one checking in on a regular basis.

I too am glad you made it through. I check in almost everyday as part of my morning routine and as you say I find the site is speechless for weeks at a time. Come on guys and gals let’s chime in every now and then.

Retriever is wrapped and pointed NE. The cover survived the fall storm (S***Show) and this one fine. Tides here were big on the AM cycle. Most amazing was the lights only flickered a few times. I guess the fall storm which had higher winds culled all the weaker trees. Need heated wiper blades for our shop plow truck.

It was windy here in Marblehead, but we've had it much worse (like last March it blew at around 55 knots sustained for 24 hours and took off half my roof). Last weekend we had sustained winds of 37 knots with gusts up to 49 knots with 2 feet of snow.
