holding tank macerator pump.

Post by retman »

Just made it until haul out this year as it was failing. This is the second Jabsco since we got the boat in 2007. We Run a fresh water Raritan Elegance toilet. Should I try another brand of pump? Just wondering. I may take it apart but it was slowing down and blowing fuses but seemed to pump fine. For the price and comfort it is one system that needs to work.

Bill, I strongly advocate getting a Dometic Sealand 12 pump. They are just about bullet proof, but at the same time are easily rebuildable

P.S. If you get this pump, remember it MUST be installed horizontally.

Thanks Al, That is the same pump that powered the VacFlush system in my previous boat.
