I feel like i have used my boat more this summer than any other. But i do have to sell her. I dont understand why i havent gotten more response for my boat. It runs very well and there have been many updates done for the last 10 years.I want everyone to know this boat is in very good condition i just cant afford it anymore. 17,500 for a 35' 1973 bert. that only needs a gennie. Going to relist on craiglist and facebook again.

my 35 is out of the water for the winter. If i don't end up selling her i was thing a little out of the box. If i take the flybridge off and ended with just a hardtop i would be able to have it hauled home every winter to my home in north reading. Got a quote from Scalisi for 800 one way. Cheaper than storage where its at. Would i be messing up a beautifully designed boat.

OK i got your opinion doug but maybe i can convince you that it might be a nice change. Saw a 35 for sale that put a complete glass bulkhead with a slider. Looks awesome and he cut off the flybridge. Have you seen it?

Peter, I agree with Doug but if you insist, then after cutting the bridge off, put 3 or 4 outboards on the reinforced transom. Al 1978 33 FBC NITES OFF P.S just being a wise ass.

Pete, I've seen a couple 33's converted to "express" models and done right, they look and perform great. The problem that I see is the "done right" part is very expensive.......& adding 3 or 4 outboards would be another 100 grand. LOL

Pete, That would not be my cup of tea, but its your boat and my advice is to do whatever you want to do that makes you happy!

I already got a quote of hauling it to my house and then i can do any kind of work it will need without a flybridge. Cant haul it with the flybridge. {NO outboards.} Please. Im not trying to destroy it just modify a little. If i knew how to send pix i would send the pix of the 35 that did the flybridge elimination. It has been very disappointing to have people tell you that a 45+ year old boat isnt worth much before even seeing it. This way i can make it look newer than it already looks.
