Wishing our Southern friends all the best through the storm. TBT, I'm not 100% sure we're out of the woods in New England. Rick Ticket 85 SF Merc 454 MPI's Falmouth, MA

I think we here on the NC coast are fortunate in that it looks like Irma will, rather than skate along the coast like many hurricanes do), will actually go west of us and move through GA, SC and only the western part of NC. I hope all those affected by her will be safe..

I'm still going to Little River, SC to double check my boat although I think we may have dodged this bullet. A good friend flew back to Abaco to take care of his house and property.

If the track continues as currently predicted we should be ok. The marina has closed and everyone has had to move their boats out so we are on the hill just south of Charleston. Hope everyone is OK. Scott 1981 46B Dealer's Choice Edisto Beach, SC

The harbor that I'm in is considered a hurricane harbor by my insurance Co. and we we all stay put. That's ok as long as the tides don't bring the floats over the pilings. 525 slips would cause a slight problem if the floats came off of the pilings!

We had so many members down there that we could have a rendezvous there in Captiva Island. I sure hope everybody is OK.
