Have any of you guys used one of these on your toilet thru-hull ? The thru hull for my toilet shares a thru hull with my salt water wash down. When I'm underway, both the toilet and wash down can't prime and pump. But I'm nervous that installing a scoop strainer will create too much water pressure and cause leaks. Rick, If you do scoop it,before you mount the scoop, what do you think of drilling some relief holes in the back of the scoop? Al

I used one for my SW wash down for the same reason. I was very happy with the result. I use 2 hose clamps on each fitting and never had an issue
