Sani Flex

Post by Rick »

Has anyone used Raritan's Sani Flex hose instead of the Shields Poly-X ? I finally broke down and got a new toilet, so I need a good discharge hose. That poly-x is $$$$ Rick Ticket 85 SF Merc 454 MPI's Falmouth, MA

Rick, Unless you have tight bends to deal with in your installation, I wouldn't go for the higher cost Sani Flex. Having said that, it is very good hose.

I used it when I changed my head. It was easy to work with and after two years no permeation. It was more expensive than the Shields hose but I think it was worth it. Mike Ford

Thanks guys, I thought the Poly-x was more money than Sani Flex. I'll keep looking around... Rick Ticket 85 SF Merc 454 MPI's Falmouth, MA

I used the 1" on the discharge of the Raritan Elegance I installed a few years back. Easy to work with.

In my opinion the shields poly x is the best option. I had it installed at least 5 or 6 seasons ago and there's no smell. It's guaranteed not to smell.
