History and specs?
History and specs?
We are starting to look at buying a new boat. Out of all that we have seen we keep coming back to the 33 convertible and sportfish as well as the 35. I've seen different hull specs for different years of each model. Is there a place or would someone be able to guide me on where I could find history and hull specs on these models. I'm also looking for engine options and what motors provide best dollar to speed value. We are very excited to begin our search. Thank you in advance.
Welcome, I'm not sure of a place where you can get the specs and changes for the different year models. I'm sure some of the guys on this forum will know. As far as engines goes everyone has their own opinion. Some of the guys like their gas engines but I wanted diesel. Most of the boats with Cats have 3208 which is normally a little less horsepower and heavier than the Cummins or Yanmars. I went with the Cummins because their parts are cheaper and are available at auto part stores. In my area their are a lot of qualified mechanics to work on the Cummins too. Searching for a boat is half the fun and their are some nice Bertrams out there.
