Tachs

Post by buzzk »

What kind of tachs do you have. I don't like the tachs on my boat and I'm thinking about changing over to Aetna Digital Tachs. I had the Digital Tachs on a prior boat with Detroit's and they worked great. Has anyone used the Aetna Tachs on Cummins?

Mine has the Det-Mar's. Been messing with the 4-6-8 cylinder switches on the back to try and settle 'em down for a while. They're still working but I can't seem to get all the jumping to stop at low RPM's. Rick Ticket 85 SF Merc 454 MPI's Falmouth, MA

Aetna's, give them an 8 out of 10, but pretty accurate.

On my old boat the sending unit counted the teeth on the flywheel and they were great.
