Tom, I am a member of Metropolitan and have my 33FBC there. It will be nice to see another 33 transiting the river! We will have to catch up at some point. Congrats on the purchase!

Its official, I own the Bertram. I am very excited. She will e coming to my yacht club via truck next week. She will spend a few weeks on land so I can do a complete walk down of all systems and address any and all issues. Now I guess its time to go shopping for new electronics!!!!!! Tom

I purchased a new Garmin chart plotter and radar late last fall. As usual Garmin just released a new Doppler radar about a month ago. It shows an object heading towards you in red, going away from you in green. I think Furuno just released the same technology. Very expensive. The good part is Garmin will drop prices on last years models when they release new products.

Congrats on your new boat. The fun part starts now. I purchased a new boat last year and we are having a blast refitting it. Almost ready to splash. If you are looking for the best price for electronics try calling Joe at Pawtuxet Marine Electronics in Ri. After talking to 3 electronics In our area I was introduced to Joe, he's an old timer and extremely knowledgable with all brands.

I had a local guy do the tint. He primarily does tint on cars and custom autobody work, but he did this as some side work. He did 3 boats at my club and everyone is very happy.
