Buzz, Frank, Jack and any others that would like to join us: Let's work on a place & time to meet. I'm the furthest North in Bath & Jack is the furthest South, around Little River. Jacksonville seems to be somewhat mid-way, but I have no clue what's there & Friday's are the best "goof off" days for me. Any suggestions?

I'm definitely in for a get-together. Being retired I am probably the most flexible schedule wise.. so somebody propose a date and I'll follow along.

Joe, Although retired, I'm going to FL the weekend of March 11 for a boat racing deal. I have to go to a track meet in Columbia, SC March 26. Otherwise I'm Free. Jack

Most Fridays will work for me. When I get home from vacation I'll check my schedule. Jacksonville has a lot of restaurants.

Thanks Buzz. Let's tentatively plan for Friday, March 18th. That should work assuming we're not too hung-over from St. Paddy's day! Buzz will pick the place.

Buzz, Have you figured out a spot for us yet? Is everyone good with Friday the 18th?

How about Cheddars. It's on Western Blvd.

That works for me unless there's anything on the waterfront that's decent?

Actually I've never eaten at the one waterfront restaurant that I know of. It's been awhile since I've been to that area of Jacksonville and I didn't think there was a lot down there. But I'll ask a friend who works in Jacksonville if there is a decent restaurant on the water. If everyone wants to eat on the water we could move the lunch to Swansboro or Wilmington. I know of several decent waterfront restaurants there.

Wilmington is a bit of a "hike" for me, but Swansboro is certainly doable if your friend doesn't come with anything in Jax. Waterfront would be my preference. It just puts you in the mood to drink more!

I'll ask my friend about waterfront restaurants in Jacksonville this weekend. I know Swansboro has a couple of decent waterfront restaurants. I like a couple of the waterfront restaurants better in Morehead or Beaufort but it's a longer drive for the guys down south.
