When I bought my '90 33' FBC last year (former FL boat) I removed the flybridge bimini and replaced with a hardtop. I also removed the newer rear cockpit bimini. Richie, The rear bimini covers the complete cockpit. It is designed to attach to an aluminum channel strip at the rear base edge of the flybridge. Send me an email with your email address and I'll forward a picture of it just before I purchased the boat in Florida. If you want further pictures I can always stand it up out in the driveway and take a couple more. If you are interested, I'm tentatively planning on heading up to my boat in Westbrook CT next weekend (from Jersey) and will be traveling I-95. I may be even bringing my trailer with a load of boat stuff, so I'd be able to bring it along. I go right through Greenwich on the way. I'll wait for your email address and forward along a picture. Doug, Good observation! That picture was taken shortly after installation at the end of last summer, prior to installing the front two diagonal supports. It is an Atlantic Tower that I installed and the two diagonal aluminum supports (installed after this picture) come down and attach to the front dash area directly behind the windscreen. You'll notice the windscreen is off too. I replaced the light green tint with a medium smoked lexan windscreen. When I shipped the boat north from Florida I had to remove the flybridge and windscreen, so I figured as long as I had it off, it would be worth replacing. I'm having a stratoglass enclosure made this spring to complete the update. How's your Spring commissioning work coming along? I've got a punch list a mile long it seems like. I've come upon an interesting predicatment though. I have a Morning Dove bird that has made a nest on my Port trim tab and has been there sitting on eggs since at least April 16. The CT Wildlife division says they'll probably hatch in the next week or so and probably need 2 - 3 weeks before they evacuate the nest. Anyone want to trade trim tabs. That makes more sense now. I just had my hardtop done last year and originally they had it done like yours but it wound up being too wobbly so they added the v-suppport in front. The spring work is coming along slowly. The crappy weather hasn't helped. I'm taking tomorrow off so hopefully I can finish re-bedding my portholes and finally take the cover off.
