Does anyone have any idea what a Bertram stem head fitting (bow line chocks/bow lights) from my '83 FBC is worth? It needs rechroming, but is complete with lenses and bulb sockets. Mine is for sale but I don't have any idea what it is worth.

Frank, I would use it as a paper weight on my desk. I don't have any idea what it's worth but you shouldn't have any trouble selling it. Buzz

Put it on E-Bay with no reserve. You'll quickly find out.

its funny you just put this on frank. I have a 35 and i just took off the tops so i could renew the colored barrels that are inside . I was going to ask the group if anyone knows where to get the colored barrels. I got stopped in boston harbor this summer and the statey suggessted i get a better color on my bow light. The green has faded to a very faint blue. Does anyone have a place i can get the colored barrels? Pete

Pete... High Tide shows they have the lights for sale in their online catalog, but no prices. You might give them a call and see if they have lenses only for sale. I wonder if you could get some paint they use on clear bulbs to have them look colored.. maybe the green bulb output would change the blue to green? My green lens looks bluish also!

Is anyone here interested in buying my bow chock/nav lights fitting? I am offering it for $200. If not I will post it for sale on the B31 site. If someone here buys it half of the sale price will go to David to help defray some of his costs in maintaining this site. It needs rechroming, and as I stated above, the green lens has over the years developed somewhat of a bluish cast. Apparently this is a normal thing.

Khybskid... I just learned from someone on the B31 site that High Tide sells the bow light lenses only for about $35.
