Ron, Looks good. What exactly did you have painted? The whole hull or just the stripes. The teak and holly decks looks good. They've got the engines listed at 318hp. Is that right? Sorry to see you sell it. Got anything else in mind yet? Regards, Doug L. 1986 33 Bertram FBC Queen Elizabeth

Doug, we painted entire topsides with awlgrip, waxed hull, and redid stripes, and transom name. Getting some spacing between bottom paint and wide stripe gave it a more modern look. I did the teak and holly myself with sheets the same size as ply, with the veneer on top that you can finish with clear poly urethane. It has held up very well with almost no care. Engines are 340 hp, but I believe shaft hp was listed. Main thing is that the only time the boat leaves fresh water is when I run her to the Bahamas. Besides the freshwater cooling this flushes even the risers. She has been good to me, but the customs requirements for the Islands and the States now, make it too much hassle if you make frequent trips , rather than one long stay. After my trips this summer, I was fed up. Going to take a year or two for traveling in the states with my kayaks and my bikes, and then make some hard choices about future boats. Take care , Extractor
