NE Get together in Hyannis, MA

Post by dougl33 »

This has been discussed on another thread, but I thought I'd post it here. We're trying to get togther at Hyannis Marina on the Cape the weekend of Friday Aug 6th. Frank spoke with the dockmaster a couple of months ago and I just spoke with the marina again today. They still have a note in their system and are claiming they can take several boats. http://www.hyannismarina.com/content.as ... cpid=17839& If you make your reservations on line, make a note in the How did you hear of Hyannis Marina? section that your traveling with other Bertrams. I will be making a reservation for Friday and Sat nights. So far I know Bill Dunlop, Frank Price, and I will all be there. I've spoken to Rick and Brian Jordan and they're both maybes. Anyone else interested?
Regards, Doug L.

We're a tentative yes. Just trying to figure out the logistics. The kids are finishing their summer CCD program on Friday. Will know for sure shortly how we'll work it.

Although he's not a member on this site, I might try to bring along the guy that originally had your engines Doug. He's got a '77 35 and is docked next to me. I'm inviting him because if he asks me one more time how your engines are, the guys in white jackets will have to come take me away. Rick Ticket 85 SF Merc 454 MPI's Falmouth, MA

He's a good friend of Currior's, a party animal and a serious lover of Bertram's. Our kind of guy. Rick Ticket 85 SF Merc 454 MPI's Falmouth, MA

Is everyone bringing their dingy's to this ? I don't know Hyannis that well but from what I remember, there aren't too many places to dingy around. Rick Ticket 85 SF Merc 454 MPI's Falmouth, MA

Just got the wife's approval. We're booked for Saturday. Actually doing a double rendezvous weekend... We're going to Greenport Friday afternoon/evening for the 31 rendezvous, then onto Hyannis in the morning. Supposedly they have 23 or so Bertram's attending, 17 of them 31's? Since it's on our way to the Cape we decided to break up the trip. Anyone else from the Long Island contingent of Bertram 33's attending Greenport??

Can't make it. We just returned from a Nantucket trip last Sunday via Saquetucket near Chatham. FYI gas at Onset PIYC was 3.09(89) and diesel 2.69. Sandwich was 3.20 gas(93) and 2.79 diesel. Boat ran great, hot with calm seas.
