Tachs for 3208T help

I am about to order a set of Faria gauges for the flybridge of my 33, does anyone know which kind of pickup should I order? They are 1981 Cats (3208T). It is either mechanic or magnetic. Thanks!

they run off tach generators that are mounted under the heat exchanger in the middle of the front plate of the motor. Mike

Have you replaced your alternators? If so the new ones may have the ta ch connections. Captain Larry Wren 305-360-4900

The people at faria answered now, they suggest a sender....does anyone know if I can use the existing sender on the boat?
