In case you have not noticed this fall is get all those annoying little things out of the way time. Here is the burning question of the day. There is one bilge pump switch on the dash board and two bilge pumps. It appears formthe wiring that that particular swith operates the rear pump ? It also appear that there is not switch for the forward pump. Is this correct ?

I have three factory installed bildge pumps the rear pump and the pump in the engine room are located on my instrument panel on the bridge. My forward pump switch is located on the electrical panel. I added an another pump in the engine room with a switch in the engine room so that I could pump the bilge dry when I'm in the engine room. Buzz

Knock on wood I haven't been having trouble with my Bertram switches but on my skiff I have to replace the switch every year. Same switch that I use on the Bertram. Some guys have a lot of trouble with the switches and some don't. I keep my boat on a deep water creek off the ICW. Buzz

Rich Arnold: My 87FBC has a hatch just aft of the three steps going into the companionway, then another hatch between the head door and the bunk berths. Three hatches in total. Area beneath middle hatch reveals fresh water tank, marine sanitation device stuff, A/C including thru hull, HWH, an will soon contain the fresh water accumulator as I have just become annoyed with the pulsing without one.
