Has anyone come up with a fix for the latch on the slider? Mine broke again and I recall it wasnt cheap when I bought the actual replacement. Plus, the replacement was not exact and needed some tweaking to make it work... which it never worked as it should. Woke up on the boat this morning and had to climb out the friggin window to get out. Any thoughts appreciated

That sucks. It's stinkin' hot up here today too. Since the door appears to be a regular slider, is it possible home depot would have something that could work?

When the previous owner of my boat gave me the keys, he told the lock din't work very well and he was right. I installed a new lock, it wasn't cheap and it also had to be tweaked. The new lock doesn't work much better than the old lock. Buzz

When I got NITES OFF, the lock didn't work at all. I took the whole door & brought it to a locksmith. They took the lock apart & cleaned it all up. That was almost the end of the problem. The rest of the problem came from the bottom rollers corroding. When I replaced them, the lock problems went away. Al

I haven't locked my salon door since I've owned the boat. Whether its in the water or on land for storage. If someone wants to steal something from your boat they're going to get in anyway. Better to walk through the door than smash it. Bill 1989 33 FBC Cummins 6BTA's > ~------- [img]
