Hello, We just purchased a 33' 1988 Bertram! There are no curtains in the salon, but all the tracks are there. Does anyone know where we could get some made? Thanks!

I replaced mine last year with black aluminum blinds (Levolor I think). I got the idea from Bill's old '89. I like them much better as the cabin feels more spacious. They were a brand new design that had 1" slats, but when you open them, every 2nd one moves together with the 1 before, creating a 1 1/2" to 2" opening between each slat. For the front window I have a black texaline mesh cover (see through) and also a white solid canvas cover when I need privacy at night. Brian, does you front window mesh and canvas come around to cover the triangular glass on the side of the boat? Or did you have the blinds cut at an angle? Thanks Buzz

Buzz, I have white mesh on the front of mine and it does come around to cover the triangular windows. --Doug

Buzz, Yes, the Black Mesh and Solid White cover wrap around the front window and secure just in front of each sliding window. The aft triangle area I filled with a custom triangle piece. My local canvas shop used 3/4" plywood, then wrapped it with 1" foam (I think), then they covered it with the same material that I had them make to update my rear door interior cover. The triangles are held in place with velcro backers. Came out great and matches the thickness of the 1" blinds and is recessed flush with the aft fiberglass walls.
