Santana to Mets

Post by Rick »

Great pickup for the Mets. If Pedro starts like he finshed, they're going to be tough. But I'm good with the Sox keeping Bucholtz & Jacoby. It'll be a lot more fun watching these guys make their way up (even though they're pretty much there) through this season. Rick Ticket 85 SF Falmouth, MA

I have no problem with the Sox not picking up Santana. His numbers have gone down each of the past few years. I'm good with a rotation of: Beckett Matsuzaka Schilling Lester Wakefield/Bucholtz BTW, You heard it here first. Dice-K will win the American League Cy Young this year. You're right, you're definitely the first but I wouldn't be shocked. Cy Young is a tough prediction...I'm rooting for Beckett just because I think he got shafted last year. Rick Ticket 85 SF Falmouth, MA

Too bad the votes weren't taken after the ALCS. That pant load Sabathia sucked ass in the playoffs. HAAA! That was a beating he'll never forget. We sort of had the luxury of facing them just after they got done with the Yankee's, so I don't think they were at full strength; but it's not like we were on vacation either. Rick Ticket 85 SF Falmouth, MA
