Where is everyone storing their anchor. I like the flat mounted chocks because it maintains the lines of the boat but it isn't very practicle. A bow pulpit or anchor roller would be more efficient but I would have to move the bow lights and perhaps redo the bow rail which would mess with the original lines of the boat.

If you look in the 33 FBC thread , I started the same topic. I have 2 anchors on the deck. The one the boat originally came with and a big Fortress. This has worked well for years, but the anchor wench is tired of pulling anchors. I've looked at 2 configuratons with a windless. 1. The expensive one-add the pulpit. $2500 from Glas-Tech. Bertram mold, bow rail and lights included. And the Lewmar Pro-fish free drop windless $1000. Of coarse this is a DIY job. 2. Use a bow roller/drop system & a windless. Lots less $$$$. Still would need to fabricate some type of "starboard mounting surface to level it all out. I don't think it looks right...so I opt for #1. Gene Dugan Boca Raton, Fl. "Nauti Marie" 1989 33 FBC
