Hi Guys Sorry if this questions has already been answered.....but where are the seams to remove the top of my ladder to flybridge on a 82 FBC. I don't have to remove the entire rail or worse, cut it ????I'm getting ready to remove cockpit deck, and as you know the ladders got to come off first. Thanks again...Ken AIM: skyking4ever + 3 hrs. Ken, On mine the railing at the top right was split in the first T fitting. On the left hand side, I think I had to remove the railing right where it attached to the bridge. Regards, Doug L. 1986 33 Bertram FBC Queen Elizabeth Marblehead, MA [img]

Exactly as Doug says. I cut mine in the center of the 1st stancheon on the Port side. After you remove the screws in the floor you can pull the ladder up on the bridge high enough to get the floor out. I put all new exhaust clamps on everything because of a leak. Still have a leak..so I'm thinking a crack in the muffler maybe. But I'm not pulling that floor out again until about Jan. Gene Dugan Boca Raton, Fl. "Nauti Marie" 1989 33 FBC

Ken, My rail was already cut on the starboard side. The port side came off where it attaches to the bridge right behind the handrail that's part of the windshield frame. Since I was pulling up my deck to re-core it, it was easier for me to remove the ladder all together. Regards, Doug L. 1986 33 Bertram FBC Queen Elizabeth Marblehead, MA [img]
