First YFT of the Year

We got our first 2 YFT of the year last Saturday - its gonna be a great Tuna year. We (me and my crew) rarely get yellowfin before July 1 - and looking back at old records - the earlier we caught a few - the better we did later in the summer. So - based on my crazy superstitions - its gonna be a great year. We had a 45 lber and a 30 lber on the troll at the Hot Dog. Now we have a freezer full of Mako and some YFT to add to it!

Great news! Congrats on the catch. This coming year is looking good....I hope your right! Work has me at a trade show in Vegas this weekend. But it will be off shore for me every weekend (weather permiting) after that.
