Interesting overheating cause...

Post by TonyNJ »

If you remember, awhile back I was having an overheating problem with my starboard engine (454 Crusader). After checking EVERYTHING, I found it to be my hot water heater. Evidently, when I tested the unit I opened a ball valve that allows coolant into the heater. There was not enough coolant in the system to both cool the engine and fill the coils in the water heater. Solution?: Closed the valve and added antifreeze. Hope this may help someone else. By the way, "Wetted Bliss" is still for sale. If you know of anyone looking please have them email me. Tony
