Hey guys i hope all of you are well. I have a minor problem that we cant figure out i hope that u can help me. I replaced my fresh water pump (old one was Fine) now i know , witha simple shurflow 4gpm pump, after changing pumps i now have a pulsating flow in my shower head, the problem started in the galley faucett after installing a new faucett (home Depot looks awsome) that problem graduated to the shower . Any ideas?? thanx again..Pete BTW i posted the pic of boat as requested

Does it pulsate on hot and cold? or just cold? An expansion tank could be the fix.If it's a quick pulsation, I'd check the intake side of the pump to make sure it's not restricted.

Pete, It sounds like it needs the expansion tank. The air pocket in the water heater acts as an expansion tank for the hot water , so the fact that it only pulsates on the cold side would sort of point in that direction. I will be adding one to mine this year because of fluctuating water temps during a shower, caused by the same problem you have.

Frank that does not happen with the galley sink or the wash down inthe cockpit it was happening in the galley and i replaced the faucet and spicket combo and now the shower has the pulsation. Maybe since the impeller in my old pump broke i may have some blockage some where ??? i did find tiny pieces in my galley spicket

Pete, It's possible but in my shower , when the showerhead gets clogged it doesn'r pulsate or any thing else , just slows the flow down.It should be easy enough to clean it out and see what happens?

If you do not have an expansion tank, one will solve the problem. I replaced my GalleyMade sytem with a big sureflow. Pulsed like a mother. I reinstalled the expansion tank and the pulsing stopped completely. Charlie
