You've got to expect that sort of thing in a $5 tournament. Lots of people will go all-in with one out, never mind nine. It's no fold'em hold'em. There is a dog track by us that has a live $1/$2 limit cash game, but it's the same story: nobody folds anything. Might as well throw dice to see who gets every pot and forget about the cards. Drives me nuts, I won't play it. Sean Burlingham "Island Time" 1987 Bertram 33 SF Melbourne, FL SBurlingham@cfl.rr.com

Your right Sean, I played with a bunch of guys from work this weekend while we were out in San Diego. It was limit with a low entry fee, we played for HOURS! It was crazy, I eventually surrendered. OK, two things. One, we were into the tourney quite a long ways, so I would have expected better play, but I know that things don't always turn out the way you expect them. Two, Bill, you were in SD and you didn't let me know ahead of time??? WTF?

Hey Sean, at least it wasn't a donkey play on his part that did you in. There is no way he is going put you on quads and think he has the worst hand. Tough river all the same though.

good point - I cant complain about the way he played it - just bad luck for me! Unfortunately - your hand had a donkey.

Dave, I wasn't sure if I would have time away from our meetings. 500 sales reps, they keep us on a short leash most of the time. Turns out we had pretty much all of Saturday to ourselves. Didn't want to bug you last minute, we'll be out there again next year though. My buddy and I wound up at Seaworld drinking beers and watching the girls exiting the water rides. It was like a free wet t-shirt contest all day.(Just Kidding!) We stayed at Paradise Point Resort in Mission Bay. You live in a beautiful area, I hope you know your spoiled with that weather!! (As I sit here and it's 10* degrees outside!!!) Bill 1988 33 FBC Ipswich, Ma. > ~-------
