Watch it guys..... If Al gets on your boat, he may just cut your tank out ! That's exactly what he did to mine and Al, THANK YOU very much. That was a very generous day of work that you donated to Ticket and it's very much appreciated. Pic's to be taken tomorrow gents. Gerard.....check the "Insurance & Safety" section, there's tons of information relative to manufacturing dates on tanks and their performance with ethanol. The bottom line is no ones knows for sure....sad but true. There's just not enough empirical data to support our theories. So if you want to be safe, change your tank. Otherwise, read on ! Frank, We'll be emptying the remaining fuel and removing the hoses today. Since the tank will probably come out Friday morning, I think that I'll hire that forklift. Al wants to see if it'll fit in his boat too ! We'll probably measure and take pictures over the weekend, then it's off to the replacement vendor early next week. If you want it after that, all you have to pay is shipping costs getting it home, maybe we can take a collection from everyone who will benefit. I'll let you know how much shipping was for me once I choose the vendor and get it off to him. Rick Ticket 85 SF Falmouth, MA

Rick I am going to start to work on my tank when the boat comes out, I have looked every where to find a replacement, what did you find? and is your boat a Sportfish or FBC.

Gents, With brutal force, we finally popped the tank free late this afternoon. It's a 315 gallon tank. Really didn't want to come out of there....they are seriously bonded to the bottom. Thank you again Al, it never would have happened without you and the come-a-long. Will post some pic's soon. Rick Ticket 85 SF Falmouth, MA
