Doug, YES! I'm actually taking Friday off to go up and work on the boat Friday and Saturday, so I'll be there all day Saturday. Last Saturday they had George's bilge all painted and ready for engine installation I believe. All lifting I-Beams were in place, so I imagine they're working on his engine installation this week. They won't start mine until his is nearly complete, which is OK, cause I'm taking advantage of doing some other work that the access makes easy. Look forward to seeing all of you then, what time are you shooting for? Anyone else interested in joining the party? Gunny, Did you want to come down and pick-up the generator Saturday? I should be there too - if for no other reason I am anxious to see the progress. I spoke to Eddy the other day and they were laying the engines in the boat. See you guys down there.

Brian/George Since you are adding a new fuel supply system to feed the diesels, you might want to consider adding an electric fuel pump upstream of the fuel water separator. Just change one filer at sea and you know what I mean, plus no more having to carry a separate jug of diesel. If you want to get a little fancy for a few extra fittings and shut off valves plus one return line to the tank you could have fuel polishing system! Capt Rich Catch 22 1989 33 FBC

Rich, Thanks for the tip, I'll have a conversation with the yard as to their thoughts and extra cost to do. Doug, Frank and Bill all came for a visit yesterday and we climbed all over both George's and my boat. George's engine are in, but not yet fully mounted. Boy they look good in there. They won't start mine until George's is complete, but this gives me time to work on all my projects that having full access in the engine room gives. I'm adding a flat screen in salon mounted on starboard aft wall, just behind side windows. Also going to add 4 additional engine room lights to really light the place up. Adding two additional 110 outlets in salon on port and starboard aft walls. Got my new FX-1 A/C digital control in the mail to mount be installed at some point too. Always seems like projects to do. Drove home from Rhode Island last night and got home just as the NorEaster was arriving at 8:30p.m., only a dusting of the white stuff on ground when I got home. At 8:00 a.m. this morning (Sunday)we have 14 - 15 inches on the ground and still snowing heavily. Winter has finally reared it's head again. There now calling for 12 - 24 inches. Thanks for the tour yesterday Brian, your boat is going to fly with the new engines. Brian, I was down early but had to leave. I hope they finish soon as I would also like to get some projects done. As you noticed, there is not much I can do while he is in the middle of the project as my boat is totally torn apaprt. Looks like they are making serious progress but they still have a bunch of work to do - not the least of which is the exaust conversion. How he plans to get all those boats done is beyond me. I am curious if he considers "done" as being done done or just the hard stuff. Stupid question: Any reason I should not buy a normal old fridge from Lowes or BJs as a replacement vs a "boat" fridge". Found one that I like and it fits for short money.

George, Sorry I missed you. I was there from 9:00 - 5:30 both Friday and Saturday, so somehow we missed. You might want to think about replacing all of your aluminum wire clamps with stainless versions with the access you have now. Many of your aluminum ones are shot, as were mine. I am not sure i want to touch anything until he is done. If I were him, I would really want people like me to stay out of the way until I was done.
