Rich, I'll probably skip the fuel pump on the Racor for now. I would like to get the vacuum guages installed on the Racors though. Seems like a great way to know exactly whats going on with the life of the filters. Bill 1988 33 FBC Ipswich, Ma. > ~------- [img]

The Racor fuel priming pumps from Racor that fit their filters are easy to install and can be added to the Racor filters later. I took the t handles off my Racor and added the vaccum gauges that screw in where the t handles used to screw in. They work well but are not as convenient as the guages mounted in the dash. Thanks Buzz, I'll check into the priming pumps, it does seem a better option then carrying around an extra gallon of diesel fuel to prime the filters. Especially if your out in bad weather doing filter changes. Bill 1988 33 FBC Ipswich, Ma. > ~------- [img]

Bill, I'm definitely heading up to my boat the weekend of 4/14 - 4/15. I have a lot to do before my 4/19 launch date. If you're going to your boat that weekend, let me know, perhaps we could catch up. I could grab the screen then too. Brian, I am definately heading down that weekend, boat will be near complete and might be in water for a initial start up. He's going to pop it in the water with the cockpit off still, so he can check everything for possible leaks and whatever else. I can get the screen to you for sure. I'll call you later in the week. Joe, That time table might work out, I'm in no real rush, the weather certainly isnt making me anxious to get the boat up here. Still looking at snow out my window!!! We'll keep in touch.
