Regarding other swim platforms out there, take a look at Glass Tech @ glass-tech.com/swim-platforms. The 33 had a platform very similar if not the same when it went down. I can tell you it's a durable pce of equipment. I had a guy who had no business being in a boat run into it in lake pontchartrain. He limped away missing some of his hull and i had some gell coat missing near a corner. Should be shark-proof.
