If you need me to take a look, I'm just down the street. By the way, National Marine is a liquidator for banks. These guys submit bids to whatever bank holds title & they just do the marketing. They will sometimes accept bids that are less than the minimum. Joe Tomaini 1988 Sportfish Attitude Adjustment II Fort Lauderdale, FL

I am open to offers on a diesel boat in Florida, newer genny (300 hours), tower, ac, fresh and salt water wash down and live bait. Brand new 8d batteries, 3 sided enclosure etc... I would like to sell boat and am aware of the market. When I look at the disaster that the guy up east is looking at when a clean boat is in your state. 305-960-4300 Captain Larry Wren 305-360-4900 www.apirateschoice.com [img]http://www.bertram33.com/photogallery/p ... I have seen this boat before. I want to steal the aft sunshade. Doug was right on the engines. Looks like a setup from a gofast boat to me. I'm not sure it is still at National Liquidators, but I can find out easy enough. We have been refitting boats coming from there all summer and shipping them to Europe. That has been my new summer job. I'm done with the Corp. life. Larry's boat is worth a look in the Keys. Got to like to open bridges though. That is one big tower. Gene Dugan Boca Raton, Fl. Well I just got back from National Liquidators. For all those interested, the boat name is Stone Crab & it's hailing port is Delray Beach, FL. Someone is very good at cut & paste or digital editing. This boat has been neglected for several years. It has original 7.4 carburated Mercruisers & not new 8.1's. The starboard engine had it's plug wires off & just hanging in the bilge. The exterior gelcoat is not that bad, but all the stainless & aluminum is in poor shape. The electronics on the bridge look like they haven't been used in ages, as do all the switches. Guages are fairly new & the enclosure is shot. Newer carpeting on the interior with plastic covering in dark green. A/c has an updated FX-1 controller & works well. It was too hot to look at the geny or rudder posts, but I'd figure they're not in good shape as, overall, I'd rate this boat a 4 out of 10 & I would not pay more than 20k for it. Gene, the aft sun shade frame is really oxidized & the sunbrella is very brittle looking, but it does provide some nice shade if you don't fish. Thanks Joe I really appreciate the fact that you took time out to look at the boat. I plan to be in florida in another week and I will be looking at boats. I will probably pass on the one Joe looked at because I try to stay away from salespersons who misrepresent their product. After this trip I will make a firm decision. I have more or less narrowed my scope to a post 1986 sportfish in good condition ( for example http://www.yachtworld.com/boats/1989/Be ... ted-States ). I will start out with gas power and then transition when ready and able to diesels.I prefer the lower profile of the sportfish and the engine access. Will leave my island(St.Kitts) in the caribbean Aug 28 and will spend ten days in the miami area. Thanks guys for your support so far, you have really been a great help. This is a great forum. Franco

I have been to national liquidators, what a show. The place has repo boats that are overpriced. As the sales man told me they sit for six months and then we get paid for storage then the banks sell. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THE PLACE. I looked at a few boats there along with six hundred other each day. We bid on a post 46 sport fish online and went to view, what a let down!!!!! The pictures were great but when we got there the hatches were open with soaked bedding, bilges were full of water and oils to the bottom of the engines and the salesman seems portray this as normal. I got the impression that the place was a low end halfway house for boats... Captain Larry Wren 305-360-4900 www.apirateschoice.com

Looks like a nice boat! There is a 1989 33FBC here in S. Florida. It is a twin to mine with the old 7.4 Mercs. Name of the boat is "It's Fine". Been FS for a couple years. See if you can find it on Yacht World. The owner moved to North Carloina and I know he really wants to make it go away. Gene Dugan Boca Raton, Fl. "Nauti Marie" 1989 33 FBC 2007 8.1 Crusaders
