I spoke with Janet at Brewers Yacht Yard today. They have openings for that weekend. Slips are $3.00 a foot and they will require half of the first night's fee for a deposit. That means for our boats it will be $99.00 a night with a $44.50 deposit. janet said that they do get sailing groups in there so if they get a large group looking for that wekend ,they'd give me a call, but I told her it was a pretty sure thing for at least 6 to 10 boats, maybe more. They have some kind of function hall if we need and as Rick mentioned restaurants aren't a problem. Also I guess town is well within walking distance so it sounds like a great location. I think the next thing to do is make it official and sart making reservations. Here is a copy of the email she sent me: , Thank you for your interest in our yacht yard for the weekend of August 10th. Enclosed is our guest registration booklet. Please let me know as soon as possible if you will be coming that weekend and about how many boats you expect. Your reservations will be finalized upon receipt of 50% payment of the first night. Thanks, Janet Janet Berg Office Manager Brewer Plymouth Marine 14 Union St., Plymouth, MA 02360 T. 508.746.4500 F. 508.746.2883 GUESTREGISTRATION2007.pdf What are we going to call it? I guess the guest registration part didn't come out but it's best to call for a reservation and tell them you're coming to the Bertram get together.

Hi Guys, It's nice to be missed! Actually I've been here all along, trying to keep up with all the posts. Great reading, but haven't had much to say. I will come to Plymouth in August, it's a favorite spot of mine, with great dinghy country. Did I understand correctly that we should make our own reservations now? Are the dates finalized as the 10 -12 August? Ron

I spoke with Janet today and made my reservation. She said I was the first one. Why don't you guys get busy making reservations as well. Make sure to tell Janet you're with the Bertram group. David, When were you and Alex planning on coming. Frank and I were talking the other day and we thought you might want to take the ride down with one of us on Friday the 10th. You guys are more than welcome to crash on our boat if you like. Thanks to the superior flexibilty of the FBC, I can offer you your own stateroom![;)] Regards, Doug L. 1986 33 Bertram FBC Queen Elizabeth Marblehead, MA

Not sure what our plans are, but we will likely be staying in a B&B.
