Maybe it's his favorite team because his father played for them? N.O. is going to lose because that nut job Grossman is going to have the game of his life. He is a real scitzo, how can you possibly put any money on a game like that? I hope N.O. wins, it would be great for the whole area. How about some predictions for the Pats game, closest to actual score. Pats-17 Colts-13 Bill 1988 33 FBC Ipswich, Ma. > ~------- [img]

No. I'm serious. I think the NFL is fixed. They like the "feel good" aspect of a New Orleans team winning after Katrina. Add Archie Manning's son's team (the Colts) into the mix and its got story book written all over it. You watch. New Orleans over Colts in Super Bowl. And then next year, the Colts will have their moment as they beat the N.Y. Giants (brother Eli getting in on the action), right? Prediction for Sunday - Colts 31, Patriots 30 (game winner kicked by A. Vinatieri of course).

Dave, way to predictable with the Vinitari game winning field goal. Thanks for keeping it a close game though! Will you be watching on Sunday? Bill 1988 33 FBC Ipswich, Ma. > ~------- [img]

I'm not predicting the Pats game, just can't go there. It's going to be a great game.....but I'm not jinxing 'em ! You know I agree that the Saints are getting into SB - but I'm afraid that's as far as they go. Don't think they can beat either of the AFC teams without serious injuries coming into play. We were just discussing the menu for Sunday, looks like we'll be starting off w/ scallops wrapped in bacon and moving into grilled lamb chops. Finger food is key ! Rick Ticket 85 SF Falmouth, MA

Just went shopping Rick, Big Jumbo shrimps to start, with Fat T-Bone steaks on the grill and plenty of apps. Plus, skating on the pond out back at half time. Can't wait! Bill 1988 33 FBC Ipswich, Ma. > ~------- [img]

Nice Bill, sounds like a great line up. No skating for us, didn't build the rink this year.....we've got 4 hockey teams going between the two kids, they have enough ice time. Pete has a game scheduled for 9:10 in Malden Sunday night......that the coach just cancelled....the starts are aligning ! Rick Ticket 85 SF Falmouth, MA

Now thats a smart coach, either have a game with no one there, or cancell the game and enjoy a great football game. Is it Sunday yet????? Bill 1988 33 FBC Ipswich, Ma. > ~------- [img]

Enjoy Patriot fans!!!! GO PATS!!! Peyton Manning, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven, God was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a faded Colts flag in the window. "This house is yours for eternity, Peyton," said God. "This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here." Peyton felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house. On his way up the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3-story mansion with a Silver and blue sidewalk, a 50-foot tall flagpole with an enormous Patriots logo flag, and in every window, a New England Patriots towel. Peyton looked at God and said "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question. I was an all-pro QB, I hold many NFL records, and I even went to the Hall of Fame." God said "So what's your point Peyton?" "Well, why does Tom Brady get a better house than me?" God chuckled, and said: "Peyton, that's not Tom's house, it's mine." 1978 33 FBC NITES OFF
