Dave, there is NO excuse for my fantasy football team! Got pretty close to the marina but no luck getting to the boat. I was about 200 yards away and there was metal debris the size of wheel barrels scattered about. Tons of shingles, foam, and other stuff. I zoomed in with my camera and saw the top of my shrinkwrap. From what I could see it looked intact. I did see some big boats with their sliding cabin doors popped off. Most boats that are in my area did have their windshields still in place. So, I think I should be fine, unless some debris fell through the shrinkwrap. They said Monday we could possibly get in, but if I had to guess it will be much longer. The marina buildings by the boat had the roofs pretty much blown wide open, and all the windows blown out. I would have to say that the buildings will have to be torn down. Wow, This is going to be a far reaching thing. I wouldn't be too worried about your windshield , since it's fully a quarter of an inch thick but the side windows could have potential of breaking, even though as Doug said, they're tempered. Since your boat was hopefully shielded by the boat in the outside row, I hope all you have is some smoke stains on the outside of the exposed hull. Maybe the insurance company can pay for a proffessional sand and buff of the whole boat? Not to mention, a touch-up of the exterior stripes...

David, I just did a google search for photos and can't find any. We've been seeing it on tv for a couple days now but the best shots were the day of the explosion , from circling helicopters, now it's just close-ups of safety people and our feel good governor- elect bloviating about how proffessional and courtious everyone has been about it.Amoung other things.

It's always comical to see how clueless the politicians are up there. Except for Kerry.....he just said "it's Romney's call!" Bill, maybe get in there with a dingy from Danversport ? Rick Ticket 85 SF Falmouth, MA

Rick, Look at your post, it looks like you're a Kerry supporter. Besides I wasn't making a statement, it was a question, to clarify your position. Somebody must be for the guy, he keeps getting elected????You guys weren't windsurfing together down on the cape?

Frank - You do want to get busy don't you.....who ruffled your feathers ? I might have suggested that he finally realized who was in charge but never claimed that he had a clue. You've been listening to your buddies down in Frankin Park too often. One thing I agree with is.....who in the world IS electing this idiot ? Rick Ticket 85 SF Falmouth, MA
