Sad part is people shit when they see the boat but as we all know that does translate into a sale. I continue to be baffled why these boats with such a great pedigree do not hold their value like so many others do. Like I tell my wife, it's an expense, not an asset! No one is buying older diesel boats. As Buzz said everyone wants a boat with outboards. In todays market you can get a 31 Cabo with low hours for around 70K if you hunt around.

I have used my boat or been on the board as often as in years past. But not throwing in the fowl yet. Last weekend my daughter and I ran my B35 from Baltimore to Annapolis to have lunch at my Aunts house and take her (93) and my Mom (88) on their first boat ride in 4years. They had a blast and enjoyed seeing the change on Whitehall creek Best part was some quality time with my 14year old who is learning to operate a boat not just pass the test. Also took 3 different groups on booze cruises... College next year for my oldest, means more short trips but I'm not done yet Hell in 7 years I'll be done educating the kids and ready to head off shore and the great loop when I retire in 2030 Br, JohnD

Since May, I've been out a whopping 9 times, about 200 miles worth. Going out again in a couple weeks with the guys for the 'all salmon die' fishery. Been a tough year. Between work and mother nature, days on the water are limited. Hoping next year will improve or I will have to consider another boat as much as it pains me to say that!

I had a relatively short season with about 75-80 hours in about 6-7 weeks. Usually I took a few people out to the Chesapeake Bay for Lighthouse booze cruises. And a few over nights to Annapolis and Kent Island. As such work got in the way and the boat is going away here in 2 weeks.
