As far as I am concerned.. majority rules. I will go wherever the majority wants to go.

I'll go to either one, although it's about 2 hours to Jacksonville for me and then another 20 minutes to Swansboro. This is from Little River. Cheraw my home would be even further. Just let me know what the group wants. I plan on going to the boat and leaving from Little River if nothing interferes.

OK guys none of my friends knew of any good waterfront restaurants In Jacksonville. I'm not saying there isn't one but I don't know about it. The best restaurant for our group would be the Ruddy Duck in Morehead City. I think Beaufort and Morehead have better restaurants than Swansboro. But Swansboro which would be about 20 miles closer for the guys down south has a couple places that are good, The Ice House and the Saltwater Grill. I like the both places and the food is a toss up sometimes one is better than the other. But I like the second story deck on the Saltwater Grill. Where and what time does everyone want to meet?

If it's OK with everyone else, lets do The Saltwater Grill in Swansboro at Noon, Friday the 18th. Whoever gets there first can get us a table upstairs. Thanks Buzz. By the way, I love the Ruddy Duck in Morehead, but it's a bit too far for everyone else. We can always plan another journey.

I'm not sure if I could make Moorehead City. From Little River, where my boat is, this would be about a 3 hour drive one way. I'm concerned about the drive home. I'll have to drive 2 hours the day before to get to Little River.

Jack, The Saltwater Grill is in Swansboro, not Morehead. Should be about a 2 hour drive for you and maybe a hair less for me.

Frank, I plan on stopping at the Propshop in Wilmington on my way up. Would you be interested in meeting in Wilmington and riding the resto of the way together? Send me an email at johnvandeman@mindspring.com and I'll give you my cell phone number.

For you guys that live to far away to meet for lunch you missed a good time. It was nice seeing Frank and meeting Jack and Joe.
