Bill is staying on a mooring the first 3 nights (Sat, Sun, and Mon) and then he will be at the Basin with us. I know its tough, but if anyone is considering going I would make reservations sooner rather than later. The Viking owners are actually having their rendezvous in Nantucket that week. Lets show them what real boats are! Regards, Doug L. 1986 33 Bertram FBC Queen Elizabeth Marblehead, MA

Brian, I revised my reservations last week so Bill and I are all set. I originally made my reservations in April. Did you make reservations? Regards, Doug L. 1986 33 Bertram FBC Queen Elizabeth Marblehead, MA

Doug, Just checked with the boat basin and they said they still have room. I'm contemplating Mon-Fri or Tue-Fri. They said if we want to get next to each other or close we should all mark each others boat names/reservation names on our forms and see what the dockmaster can do. Have to make final sale with my wife first, I'll let you know. Brian '90 Bertram 33' FBC Never Say Never Westbrook, CT

Brian, Good luck on selling the wife. I believe the basin has already got the request to keep Bill and I close, but I'll double check. Regards, Doug L. 1986 33 Bertram FBC Queen Elizabeth Marblehead, MA

FYI: Just got back from another night of securing things down at PCYC. CH4 in Boston had a camera crew and reporter down there. They had footage of the marina on the 11 o'clock news. They were right behind Bill and I as we were working on his boat. I offered to take the reporter for a ride on Bill's boat. I told her it was Bertram weather. She just laughed and said "What's a Bertram?" Regards, Doug L. 1986 33 Bertram FBC Queen Elizabeth Marblehead, MA

I'm still very interested, but have to gain commitment from my wife with vacation schedules and all. I'll let you know shortly. I'll mention it to Ken on Blue Chip too, when I see him in Westbrook, CT this weekend. Brian '90 Bertram 33' FBC Never Say Never Westbrook, CT
