Doug, Per Tred Barta, we have the best albacore fishing on the planet (he came up to OR this year). My best day this year was a local tuna tournament, where we put 57 tuna on the deck- it could have been 157 if we had storage. Livebait fishing in the NW is fast and furious. I think I only had three days this year where storage was not the limiting factor in how many tuna we caught. It is not unusual for us to put 30 fish on the deck in 45 minutes on one livebait stop. If any of you guys end up in the NW in Jul/Aug/Sept, let me know, and I will take you out for some wild livebait fishing. I am hoping that taking out the bulkhead would not be a permanent modification and that I could take it back to stock if I needed to. If gas stays reasonably cheap, I think I am going to hold onto my 35' and get a bigger convertible down south, as I am having a hard time justifying a big convertible with our three month fishing season in the NW.
