There is no sag in the hose.I am confident in that hose. You guys know me well enough that if i even had a slight doubt in it i would replace it.I love you guys for your input and concern. Now,I got the deck laid back down and put a nice fat bead of caulk around on the line of the screw holes .The groove between the removable deck and the permanent deck ...Do you caulk that?mine was not caulked before but there is no drain holes. Tim, The fact that there was no caulk around the outside edge tells me the deck has been pulled up before. It was originally caulked. I would do so again. I did when I had mine pulled up last year. Tim, Now that the engines have got a couple of hundred hours on them, have you noticed any difference on your speed at WOT? What about cruise rpm, speed, and fuel burn? Regards, Doug L. 1986 33 Bertram FBC Queen Elizabeth Marblehead, MA

I now have my fx-1 digital ac controls installed .I think this is a great addition to the boat. The fact that the water pump only runs when the compressor is on is nice and the fact that the fan gradually gets stronger and weaker as needed is really nice.It was very easy to install. below is a few pictures. This is the display unit mounted at the steps midship starboard This is the control box that is mounted in the storage locker starboard midship. The back wall of the locker is removable with screws and exposes the ac lines and the wiring as shown below. i did not do that....... it was a problem that i could tell had been fixed by the previous owner because the wires from that terminal had been removed and wire nutted together....i fixed that too. Thanks for noticing eagle eyes. Tim Stamm Photo Finish 1981 33' Bertram FBC

Did you have to route wires up to the control? Mine is on the ceiling, and I'm not sure how I would do that if I had to, but I do want the same unit. Sean Burlingham "Island Time" 1987 Bertram 33 SF Melbourne, FL SBurlingham@cfl.rr.com

Sean, your 3knob controls which i will call "display" or your control is on the ceiling? no new wires had to be ran from the compressor . the wires that connect to the old 3knob "display"have to be connected to the control box that i put in the wall of the locker.then a telephone type wire which is supplied with the fx-1 is run from the control box to the digital display which replaces the 3knob"display" does that answer your question?
