My '90 FBC has a custom electronics console that came with the boat, but I believe they were somewhat massed produced at some point in time, as I've seen a number of them on Bertram 33's listed on YachtWorld.com. See the link below for a 1990 listing that pictures a console like mine. http://www.yachtworld.com/core/listing/ ... =1557&url= I could post a picture for you, but I'm heading to Nantucket & the Islands for a week vacation starting Saturday, so I wouldn't be able to post until the week of the 15th. I have flush mounted a Raymarine C120 and C70, plus an autopilot, a remote mic and eventually an fuel flow meter I haven't installed yet. Hope this helps ... I think it's much cleaner than bracket mounting. Brian '90 Bertram 33' FBC Never Say Never Westbrook, CT

They just didn't leave enough room there. I added a navpod on my console for a Garmin 3010C by using a starboard plate underneath the base of the pod. Not the best looking thing in the world, but it is okay for me, is functional, and kept me from trying to work with fiberglass. Rather shove bamboo under my fingernails than work with fiberglass. The Garmin is nice, I have map, weather, radar, bottom, and heading/waypoints all on one screen that I can see nicely sitting or standing. I had to heat up the starboard to match the curve of the top of the dash. I've got a custom side electronics box that came with the boat and has a smoke-glass top that flips open, but I hate looking over to the side to see where I am, so the top mostly stays closed. I left all the old electronics in there as hard-wired backups of everything, so that is nice to have. Later I'm adding a smaller navpod on the left side for autopilot control, and maybe a few more gauges. Here's what it looks like so far: Sean Burlingham "Island Time" 1987 Bertram 33 SF Melbourne, FL SBurlingham@cfl.rr.com
